What Colors Are Hot in Eye Make-Up This Spring

Spring_Eye_Makup_TrendsWhen a new fashion season rolls around, everyone patiently awaits the unveiling of the new look.

Part of that look revolves around the color palette that designers are promoting.

Here are some of the hottest colors in eye make-up for this spring.

The look for spring is bold and dramatic. You might be thinking bright outrageous colors, but bold can mean prominent rather than just bright. You can create a prominent look to your make-up without going over the top – unless you want to.

Eye Shadows:
The natural look is still in. In the spring, pastels are still popular. For a natural look to your face, apply eye color in pinks, beiges, tan and blush. You can still add drama with a thick, dark stroke of eye liner and colored mascara.

Many models sported the look of metallic gold, bronze, silver and gray. It adds a hint of shimmer and sparkle to the lid. Adding a swipe of the same shadow under the eye implies innocence and also radiance. Add additional sparkle to your eye make-up if you dare.

Bold color doesn’t have to take a back seat if you can pull it off. You might want to table it for the office but you can still bring it to the forefront once you clock out. Add splashes of color in gold, orange and bright blue. Done right, it can stand on its own without adding too much color to the lips or cheeks.

Dark colors are also in if you are talking about smoky eyes. Using dark browns, gray, violet and gold, you can give your eye a deeper look for day or evening. Blend your eye liner in with your eye shadow to compete the effect. For day, use a liquid liner for bold, clean lines. In the evening, smudge the eyeliner under the eye to over-exaggerate the look.

If you choose to let your eyes do the talking for you, tone down the rest of your make-up. You don’t even need mascara if the look is effective enough.

Body Focus System Weight Loss Success

I'm a 40 something year old guy that over the last 10 years has slowly but surely gained weight. I have never been the type of guy to diet, but after having to go for sleep apnea testing, starting medication to control my high blood pressure, and being 40 pounds overweight, found it was time to do something.

I went to a Body Focus System seminar to hear what they had to say and I was surprised. The Detox is what really got my attention. I had always wanted to try a detox, but did not like the thought of having only liquids or having to drink some crazy mixture that tasted like who knows what.

I decided to sign up and give this "diet" a try. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I did! Let me first tell you about the detox. I started with the fruit detox in August and from the first day there was more to eat than I ever expected. I always assumed a diet would be about eating food you don't like and trying to forget about how hungry you are. With the detox, there were days that I was eating a snack before I was even hungry. I lost over 7 pounds during the detox eating fruits that I like and not feeling hungry at all.
